Colin McEnroe–My Hero

I do not know where he finds time to be so awesome in print, online and on the air–but I’m glad he does. I especially love his take on my acquaintance, Marion Steinfels:

I then suggested [to Marion Steinfels] that she could better understand one of my takes on Lieberman by reading a certain posting elsewhere in this blog, whereupon she told me she makes it a point never to read any blogs because they get things so wrong.

By “wrong” Steinfels is probably not referring to the occasional grammatical error or technicality. For instance, my other site The Ned Lamont Resource recently listed that Ned Lamont had been endorsed by CT-NOW. I had it wrong, because Ned Lamont was actually endorsed by NOW PAC. I was wrong, and thankfully I had a reader kind enough to inform me of the error.

Steinfels believes that blogs “get things so wrong” because they generally do not fall for the long list of bullshit that she passes for a long list of facts. I kind of feel bad, because if she had a better boss her job would be a whole hell of a lot easier.
