Dueling Endorsements
Yesterday, Ned Lamont was endorsed by George Jepsen, a former state party chair and all-around good guy:
In the Hartford Courant today:
Lamont spoke to reporters at a press conference in Hartford to announce the endorsement by Jepsen, the first member of the Democratic establishment to back the challenger. In addition to being a former legislative and party leader, Jepsen is a top adviser to the gubernatorial campaign of Dannel P. Malloy, who is vying for the nomination with John DeStefano Jr. Like Lieberman, Malloy was endorsed last month by the Democratic state convention.
The Lieberman campaign responded with a lengthy list of endorsements, starting with Sen. Christopher Dodd and dozens of other top officials who have closed ranks around Lieberman.
I wonder if alleged cokehead, John Fabrizi, was on the lengthy list?
