Lamont: “May the best Democrat win”

Ned Lamont has a new radio advertisement that is coming to a radio station near you very soon. In it, Lamont challenges Senator Lieberman to abide by the results of the primary on August 8th. This is something that Lamont has long ago committed himself to, but that Senator Lieberman (as recently as Friday!) has not.
Senator Lieberman has and continues to receive the support of elected Democrats. He also enjoys all the powers and privileges of incumbency. With those enormous advantages, he is still at great risk of losing to Ned Lamont on August 8th because Lamont is supported by Democratic voters while Lieberman’s support is greater among Republicans. Senator Lieberman is so scared that he will very likely turn his back on the party that is currently propping him up to ride the wave of his widespread Republican support to victory in November.
Or so he thinks.
This is a movement, and if you’re reading this then you can be a part of it. Just sign the letter asking Senator Lieberman to respect the will of the voters on August 8th.
