Conspiracy Alert!

Jane from Firedoglake threw a shindig Thursday night and invited the three local bloggers with camcorders (along with the entire Firedoglake community).

That very same night, Ned Lamont played keyboards and sang in Willimantic.

Considering how great a singer Ned Lamont is (Wang Chung indeed, Mr. Lamont, Wang Chung indeed), this would have made for some primo footage for any of our blogs.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Rabid, angry, leftist Lamont supporter Jane Hamsher threw a totally fun party to divert our cameras from the scene in Willimantic.

This scheduling conflict was not a coincidence. I’ll be keeping an eye on this Jane person and plan to never fall for such a transparent diversion ever again.

Fortunately, someone with a camera was in attendance, thwarting Hamsher’s evil plan.

This is firmly tongue in cheek, of course. Jane Hamsher is awesome–you can look it up in the dictionary if you don’t believe me. There’s no way I’d have missed her party, not even to get video footage of Ned Lamont singing.
