Issues: Universal Healthcare
This is a campaign about issues that are important to Connecticut. The war in Iraq is a big issue. Healthcare for all Americans is a big issue.
On Thursday, July 20 Ned Lamont announced his plan for universal healthcare before cameras from every local news outlet, but I’ve yet to see a single story on Lamont’s plan. I was also at the press conference with my camera and have some video of Lamont speaking about his plan:

Don’t let anybody tell you that Ned Lamont isn’t focused on what’s important for the people of Connecticut, because healthcare certainly is. I support Ned Lamont because I went out to see him–to learn about him myself–and what I witnessed was a man who was talking about and taking the right side on issues that are very important to me. Watch the video. Read the healthcare plan. Learn for yourself why Ned Lamont is the best choice on August 8.

Thanks, I’ve been waiting to hear what his health care plan is. The war is more important but of course he needs his positions on other issues to be known.
