Senator Lieberman isn’t talking about Iraq. He’s not doing foreign-policy interviews, and he’s toned down his rhetoric quite a bit. So desperate is Millionaire Joe Lieberman to retain a seat in the Senate that he’s not talking about the ill-conceived cause he championed: The War in Iraq.

For the million dollar baby Joe Lieberman, talking about the Iraq war has implications that hit close to home. Lieberman knows that a solid majority of Connecticut voters (specifically Democrats) want to talk about making right what Lieberman helped make wrong by cheerleading for war in Iraq. That means a couple of things for millionaire lawyer Joe. No more pharmaceutical money rolling in. No more power. No more diner tours?

A conversation about the Iraq war is one that Senator Joe Lieberman refuses to have.

Ned Lamont, on the other hand, has just posted his first video-blog encouraging us all to join the conversation. The whole country needs to get involved in the discussion because the impact of the Iraq War on the future of America is far more important to me (and probably you) than the negative impact that this discussion will have on millionaire Joe’s career.
