I’m going to post videos here as soon as they’re uploaded to YouTube and/or available for download. If the YouTube video doesn’t play, and you get a message that reads: “This video is no longer available” then the video is still processing at YouTube and will be “Live!” shortly.

9:47pm – Added Countdown video, moved the rest of the vids into extended text.
8:51pm – bumped this post. Also, PoliticsTV is definitely a professional operation–they’ve got almost everything online as streaming WMV files! T.Party has pictures from the Norwalk debate party. CTBlogger is on the scene and is driving from Norwalk to catch up with Ned in Hartford tonight. MyLeftNutmeg is abuzz as well.
7:47pm – Ned Lamont has hit his stride, I’m really liking the way this is going. Now they’re asking eachother a question, and it looks like Lieberman is going after Ned’s money. There Joe goes again…muttering and interrupting. He’s being an angry ol’ jerk.
7:18pm – Lieberman actually said “there you go again” Does he think people will not remember where he stole that line from? It already sounds like Lieberman is running in the general.
6:59pm – Update from CTKeith and TrueBlueCT: Access to the NBC30 studio has been restricted, supporters and detractors are being kept far from the entrances.

I love when Lieberman says, “People have to ask themselves whether Lamont would…” fill in the blank. That’s what the Primary is all about. If their answer is that Lamont would be better for the next 6 years then Lieberman should lose gracefully.

    Thanks for the videos.

Nice job on getting this together. And hope the Democrat wins.

[…] Inside the political arena: The crowd went crazy. Greetings from the fringe, which might also be is the leading edge of the Democratic Party. Plus round by round action: Lieberman came out strong. Who came out on top? […]

[…] 7/6’s lively debate between Sen. Joe Lieberman (D) and businessman Ned Lamont had the entire lefty blogosphere — and a surprising portion of the righties — watching. Washington Post has a complete transcript of the debate. Spazeboy has all kinds of video. Hotline’s Jonathan Martin reviews the debate — as well as blogger reaction. […]

[…] When put on TV side-by-side with his alternative, Lieberman broadcasted why he is such an appropriate case study for this post. Both complacent and princely, he proved that he has spent the last 5 1/2 years counting on reelection. It is this Primary that is forcing him to account for his deeds and words, and win or lose the effect will be a more attentive representative for Connecticut voters. […]
