Since You Brought It Up

Despite the fact that Connecticut is ranked 49th out of 50 states (behind New Jersey) for federal dollars returned to the state, as recently as YESTERDAY the “master of the earmark” was explaining this part of his job description in Hartford:
“Part of my job is to be there to respond, and to get a fair share–and more than a fair share if I can–for my state and the communities that need it most”

To be fair, Senator Lieberman never said he actually GOT a fair share in return for Connecticut, just that it’s his job. Apparently, all that experience isn’t really helping him do it. Time to hire some new blood, eh?
