Ned Lamont Means Business

An op-ed by Spazeboy’s Favorite Democrat in the Wall Street Journal today:

In the past week, my victory in the Connecticut Senate primary has been labeled everything from the death knell of the Democratic Party to the signal of our party’s rebirth. Beneath all of this punditry is a question that I want to face directly: how the experience I will bring to the U.S. Senate will help Connecticut and the Democratic Party during this time of testing for our country.

I’m struggling with what to write, and what to else to quote here. When I struggle like this, it occurs to me that perhaps it’s best if I let the op-ed speak for itself. It’s relatively brief and quite good.

Then again, maybe I can’t think of anything to write here because I already read a great analysis of Ned’s piece by PsiFighter37 at My Left Nutmeg.

I read it and it confirms that voters in Connecticut made the right choice. Keep on truckin’ dude. You’re backing a winner.
