New Britain Democrats Need Your Help

As reported at NBCommunityNews and here at Spazeboy.net, the New Britain DTC endorsed Line B Democrats Ned Lamont and John DeStefano in their races for Senate and Governor (respectively). One stipulation of the endorsement is to support the candidates that emerge victorious on August 8.

The Democratic Town Committee seeks your support to turnout as many of the city’s 15,700 Democrats as possible on Primary Day, August 8th.*

There are four ways to help:

• Call neighbors and friends at the phone bank
• Distribute literature in your neighborhood
• Encourage new voters and unaffiliated voters to become a Democrat (Walk-In Deadline Is Monday, Aug 7, Noon)
• Volunteer to help on Primary Day, anytime from 6 am-8 pm

* The Town Committee at its July meeting endorsed John DeStefano for Governor and Ned Lamont for U.S. Senator. Members and friends are encouraged to support the Row B candidates. The endorsement statement may be found at www.newbritaindemocrat.net. As part of the endorsements, the DTC pledged support for the Primary Day winners in the November General Election.
