Debate: Chris Murphy and Nancy Johnson

Saturday, I attended the first debate between Nancy Johnson and Chris Murphy over at CCSU’s Torp Theater.
I’m still kind of surprised at just how poorly Johnson did in the debate. At one point she sounded a bit like Ted Stevens raving about how the internet is a series of tubes. Johnson was defending the illegal phonetaps by talking about these wacky modern times we’re living in, what with cellular telephones and cable modems and internet and all that.
