John DeStefano and Jodi Rell debated Wednesday night for the second and final time prior to the election. Genghis Conn over at Connecticut Local Politics has a take on it, which is more than I’ve got. NBC30 has the video.

@ least the DeStephano has a decent track record on urban issues and the need for heathcare reform..i can vote for him…but can’t bring myself to support any candidate who tries to buy a senate seat…i was raised as a red diaper lefty and am dismayed that so many leftists who traditionally are for campaign finance reform are supporting a candidate just because he can afford to run…this campaign will only further alienate urban voters who instinctively realize that politics in connecticut is a rich mans sport …the democratic party has abandoned its base and should not be surprised with the low turnouts in the big cities that will continue to cost them unless they reach out to those who their policies have helped to disenfranchise and marginalize.
