The auction for the autographed Lieberman book ends tomorrow. It’s gotten about three bids so far, and I expect that it might get a few more but am not optimistic that it will meet the reserve.

I have received a lot of support and encouragement from my fellow netizens, one such generous person even mailed me a $100 contribution toward Spazemom’s car repairs (read the backstory here).

Starting with this contribution, I am 20% of the way toward the $500 that will fix my mom’s car, so I set up an Amazon Pay Page with a fundraising goal of $400. All contributions through the Amazon Pay Page are anonymous. I get no contact info, and will have no idea who has contributed.

So I want to thank you in advance. Thank you for helping me spread the word, for your contribution, or for your kind words.

I hope to take whatever contributions have come through by Monday and mail them to Spazemom. She has absolutely no idea that I’m reaching out online because she has no internet access. It’s one of those things a lot of us take for granted that my mom has decided to do without. The plus side, is that I’m sure she’ll mail me a nice thank-you card that I plan to post a scan of on the blog, so please please please come back for updates.
