Let’s Help Maura!
BranfordBoy over at My Left Nutmeg has set up a PayPal account to take contributions to be used toward Maura’s healthcare bills:
The bad news today is that Maura is sick and, thanks to the disastrous state of healthcare in the country, needs our financial assistance.
It seems to me that a large part of being a Democrat means reaching out to help others, whether we know them or not. I’d like to think that reaching out a helping hand to Maura will not only make us feel good about ourselves, but will strengthen our resolve to work for a just and equitable universal healthcare system for Connecticut and the nation.
With that in mind, I have set up a PayPal donation button so that we can all pass the electronic hat. Just click on the button to make your donation and remember that there is no minimum — small donations can add up quickly if we all chip in.
