Everybody send Susan Bysiewicz a thank you note for seeing to it that a “Lieberman” candidate can happen again! Her actions in this matter (loser law) were cowardly and oh-so political. She prefers we take the heat nationally rather than to correct our mistakes at home. Yuk on Bysiewicz and Lieberman.
Bysiewicz was follwing the law allowing Lieberman to run, it was her job to have “fair elections” and that includes allowing this kind of crap to happend because our laws allow it too. I supported Lamont all the way, and she came to New Britain, CT after the Primary to our grand opening of the Dem headquarters and was there with other democrats supporting Lamont. So don’t blame all this on her, she was doing the job she was elected to and Lieberman followed all the procedures to get on the ballot, to refuse him to run would have been ethically and legally wrong.
