Bristol Press on Tunxis
Today’s edition of the Bristol Press quotes Rep. Geragosian and I speaking about the new construction at Tunxis Community College. An excerpt:
[Representative John] Geragosian said a better learning atmosphere makes for a better education.
The expansion at Tunxis, which includes a new library, meeting areas, a cyber café with wireless Internet access, new science labs and a dental hygienic clinic, is slated to be finished in July, well ahead of fall classes.
“This is amazing,” said Geragosian, who said he is “looking forward to the opening of Addy Hall.”
But Addy, who noted that buildings generally aren’t named for the living, deadpanned, “I think I’ll wait awhile.”
Beau Anderson of New Britain, who will graduate from Tunxis this spring, went along for the tour and said he loved what he saw.
“This is great. I’m really impressed,” said Anderson.
I originally posted about the Tour de Tunxis yesterday.
