Patrice Hamilton, an English professor at Tunxis Community College, writes and directs Exposure, which is currently in post-production. I’ve written about Patrice and her film before, as a student of her Screenwriting class, and am pleased to report that the script exceeded my expectations.

It’s a complex film, with at least four major storylines, all of which are teased in the trailer above. Rather than put it into words myself, I’m copping out. Here’s how Director Patrice Hamilton describes the film at YouTube:

EXPOSURE is a feature film about characters who need to come to terms with one thing–Life is movement. Sometimes you need to look back, and sometimes you need to stand still, but do it too long and you’ve given up life. Sometimes moving on is the hardest move to make.

If you really dig the trailer, you can download or view a higher quality QuickTime version here. At the very bottom, there’s a link to the original version of the trailer, which I also happen to like. Both versions feature a song called “Something that Breaks” by 22 Brides. Though I can’t find the song online anywhere, the album can be had at Amazon.com for less than a buck (which is still more than a certain book is getting).
