The best thing about these videos is how they debunk commonly held myths about universal health care. Like the one about how we can’t possibly pay for it. Or the one about government bureaucracy. Or the myth about how the insurance industry in Connecticut will collapse if we cover everyone in the state.
So watch these videos, part 1, part 2, and part 3, and then contact your legislators and tell them that you want to see a plan for universal health care, not another band-aid or half-measure. Tell your legislator that you want him or her to push for nothing less than basic health coverage for every person in this state.
