Pros of Trinity College

I’m still weighing my decision, and because I haven’t got anything else to write today (other than to report that TParty linked Chris Dodd to Billy Corgan in six degrees), I wanted to put up a list of the things I really like about Trinity College. The list is in no particular order, and is not to be considered comprehensive.

Most people, when faced with a big choice like this, will make a list of pros and cons. I really don’t see any cons worth listing for either Trinity or Wesleyan.

Pros of Trinity College

• Proximity to the Capitol — I’ll be good and close when crap like this goes down, and hilarity ensues
• Colin McEnroe’s Blogging Class — I would finally be able to learn how to do this shit
• The Individualized Degree Program — Everything I need, handled through one office. That’s service!
• The financial aid offer — No way I can afford this on my salary
• The IDP Lounge — A place for the non-traditional commuter students like myself to hang out, lock up our stuff, and bond with our peers
• Cinestudio! — I remember going to the Gay and Lesbian film festival at Cinestudio within five days of my arrival from Iowa. Oh how I’ve grown!
• #30 liberal arts college in the U.S.
