Jim 4 Mayor – Wyskiewicz’s Website is Online

Jim Wyskiewicz, the Democrat running for New Britain mayor, just launched his campaign website. Have a look at this excerpt from his vision/mission statement:

I see New Britain, in the next couple of years, as a city with potential to break through and see real growth in many areas. Naturally, the downtown area and the Pinnacle Heights project are two areas of the utmost concern to me.
In the heart of the city, I envision a thriving downtown, one with constant pedestrian traffic and bustling boutique stores. The revitalization of West Main Street, Main Street, and Arch Street is a critical component to the health of the city.
When it comes to the Pinnacle Heights project, I firmly believe that the development of this property will be the new cornerstone for New Britain. Thanks in large part to Senator DeFronzo for pushing through legislation to allow the city to acquire the property; we have a real opportunity to create a substantial amount of job growth, which could result in lower taxes, which ultimately could lead to a city budget that looks completely different than it does today.

My favorite pic in the Campaign Photos section is of Phil Sherwood, Susan Bysiewicz, Suzanne Bielinski, and Jim Wyskiewicz. Look around, and you’ll see the familiar faces of a few state Democrats.

There’s also a media section with a link to my video of Wyskiewicz’s speech at the New Britain DTC meeting on June 28 and a clip of his speech at the Puerto Rican Festival this past Saturday July 14.

I’ll be checking Wyskiewicz’s site regularly for the latest updates, but you don’t have to wait for me to post about them. Head on over and look around.
