Zeitgeist Day – Billy and Jimmy Recorded New Album Alone?!

I just downloaded the new disc from iTunes, and took a look at the digital booklet. The one thing that stood out to me was that the album was recorded ONLY by Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin:
Are Ginger Reyes and Jeff Schroeder just stand-ins for the tour, or are they going to be creative influences in the band? What does this mean for the future? I wish I had answers.
