Why Not Dodd?

It’s probably a combination of using TiVo, being busy with school, and not being in an early state that keeps me from seeing any 2008 campaign ads on TV. So I imagine that this ad is a week or two old, but it’s good.

On a slightly related note, does anyone know what’s up with the political quiz that you can take which reveals the candidate you have the most in common with or whatever? I haven’t seen the quiz, but I’ve spoken with a handful of people over the holiday who’ve taken it, and no matter who they support (Obama, Edwards, Clinton, Kucinich) the quiz points them in Dodd’s direction. I guess that means I was on to something.

Can it be that so many people just write off a candidate like Chris Dodd without even thinking about why they’re not voting for him?

As the ad says: why not Dodd?

    Flash,

I was disappointed about Imus too. I can’t defend his decision to go on that show.

However, there are still a great many reasons to vote for Dodd, and I think it’s reactionary to throw them all out the window over one action I disagree with.

I defy you to name a single Presidential candidate that has not or will not disappoint you, ever.

As abhorrent as Imus is, the fact that Dodd went on his show is trivial compared to the major issues of restoring the constitution and ending the war in Iraq. I still believe Dodd to be the best man for that job.
